Who is this course for? 

This course is designed for any paddler who wants to sample 4 days of prime creek coaching. Ideal for the grade 4

paddler. Over 4 days we'll shape your steep creeking skills, looking at slides, drops and waterfalls. We'll take in some tight gorges and boulder gardens. This course is aimed at paddlers wanting a no frills course...Just Creeking! 

The Location

The West Coast of Scotland provides some of the best whitewater in UK .  With a wide selection of environments to tailor to our groups needs. Even during the odd low water spell you can still run water falls creeks and boof yourself silly! 


What can I expect ? 

Over the 4 days you will be sharpened on technique you will have paddled some superb whitewater and come away with some new skills to take to the river. Expect some carrying over bog and rocky ground a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. That said this is not a boot camp, this is just creeking! 



Advanced Creek Leader Course 
4 Days
This course includes 

- 3 nights accommodation 

- 2 Days  British Canoeing Advanced Whitewater Leader training 

- 2 Days Steep Creek training 

- All meals 



This convienece based course, brings together both a great environment and our modern high standard of coaching. The course is aimed at taking your river running skills and applying them to a steeper environment. 

We have combined our steep creeking courses with the British Canoeing Advanced Leader Training course. Allowing you to have access to 4 days of whitewater progression whilst obtaining your training course.

- Dealing with landing from a height 


- Fundamentals of Waterfalls


- Boofs, flares and cushion waves dissected


What skills do I need? 

This course is for paddlers who are comfortable on grade 3 with experience of grade 4. With a reasonable roll .  The Moderaterete whitewater leader award will be required for your advanced whitewater training to be logged.
