Beer Can Chicken
This is the ultimate when it comes to chicken. It looks great on the table, keeps the chicken moist and adds a lot of flavour!
What you need?
Pestle mortar or food processor
1 Large Chicken
1 Can of beer/Cider etc
3 gloves garlic
1- Crank your oven to 180. and Drink half of the beer!
2- Add all the ingredients apart from chicken to pestle and mortar or food processor. Or Chop finely. Add lemon juice and zest!
3- When ready place the beer can on the oven tray. Make sure that the tin is fully open to let hot steam out. Gently guide the chicken so the can is inside cavity. Make sure you have lots of height in your oven first. Then place beer can and chicken inside the oven for 45 minutes to and hour. Glaze with BBQ sauce. Then when you are happy it’s cooked whack the oven up to full temperature for 15- 20 minutes. This will get it crispy and tender!
Serve with roast veggies and salad!
