New Wave Kayaking is created by Ross Montandon. Ross is the youngest most qualified coach in the country. Ross has paddled extensively across Europe, Uganda, Morocco, New Zealand, the Grand Canyon, California and Nepal.
At 24 Ross has a real passion for coaching and sharing his love for the sport. He can be found on the river, in the gym or out and about on his bike. Ross is also a British Freestyle Champion. The best bit he hasn't even started!

Anthony has been on our radar for a number of years. We've known each other from our competitive freestyle days. Anthony has a unique skill to bring out the best in people. To ensure a great time on the water! Capturing that New Wave quality, for making sure that paddlers who join him on the water have a truly personal experience.
We're very excited to have Anthony to join our team. To help us help paddlers to get better at the sport they love!
This is Ant
Anthony is another young gun of the squad, but don’t be fooled he has over 10 years paddling experience around the world and with his freestyle competition background, it makes for a exciting day on the river. Ant is of course a Level 5 coach and gets his kick out of driving people to reaching their potential. He has made his home in the beautiful welsh countryside to surround himself with some amazing rivers. He is also one of the key developers of white water stand up paddle boarding in the UK.
Anthony will mostly be heading up our North Wales courses, in particular our New Wave Wednesday sessions.

For 2014 we created a Next Wave Intern program. Created to enhance our services whilst providing opportunities to for aspiring whitewater coaches. New to our team is Nathan Mcdonagh.

Suzy Devey - Massage Therapist
Suzy joins us on our This is Scotland packages to ease your aches of a weeks paddling!
Suzy is a qualified Massage Therapist with the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation. Suzy holds two qualifications one in Swedish Massage and the other in Sports and Remedial Massage.She lives in the Highlands, in the outdoor mecca in with Ben Nevis on her doorstep.

Suzy has a love for the outdoors with her background from many seasons working outdoors in the Ski Industry. As a qualified Ski Instructor, now a qualified Ski Patrol Team Member.
